So I'm sure you ALL are biting at the bit to hear about New Jersey/New York! It was soooo much fun, although their were a few snags. I got there in 3 1/2 hours on Wednesday starting my journey at 6:00 AM and getting to North Caldwell by 9:30 (damn good time if you ask me...) So I'm driving on this really pretty street looking for Adam's house, and I pass this HUGE ass house, and I thought it was his number I saw but i definitely didn't think he had a house like that so I kept going....that was his house. He has this gorgeous house with a pool and a hot tub and everything anyone would ever want and it's so cool! So when I rang the doorbell he came to the door...in only a towel....because apparently I caught him right as he was about to take a shower. So I brought all my stuff in as he was taking a shower and I played around with his adorable dog Natasha. After that we went and picked up some gels he needed for the show he's working on (Chess) and we came back...I met his sister Ashley, I changed, and we went to NYC. We got parking...okay let's not even go INTO parking in New York City that shit pisses me off...and we walked to the theatre to see if there were tickets left for Man of La Mancha. We got some preeetty awesome seats for preeeetty cheap! (Front row Mezz for 26 bucks, you really can't beat that for a Broadway show now can you?!) We still had a couple hours before the show so we went to eat at this place called Mars 2112, which was hilarious! It's this restaurant that has people dressed up in Martian costumes and you go through a simulator to get to the actual restaurant, and it was a lot of fun. Oh, I forgot to mention that I met his grandparents, and they were both very cute and very Greek. Anyways, after that we went to the theatre and watched the show, which was absolutely AMAZING and Quixote was crazy good. CRAZY good. And Sancho was Pumba from Disney's Lion King! Ain't that cool shit? So after the show we got to talk to a couple of the people from the cast because Adam knew one of them, that was also a lot of fun. When we went to go get the car (because I was going to meet Mara and he had to go to rehearsal) the people totally tricked us as far as the rates because there were two parking lots next to eachother, and we thought the rates for the one we parked in were different than they actually were. We ended up paying 36 dollars for parking!! Isn't that insane?! So yea, I also forgot to mention that Mara called while I was at lunch and told me her grandparents couldn't make the dinner reservation for more than 6 people so I was on my own till after dinner. That's right, on my own in New York City. ALONE. So I wasn't too swift on that idea, Mara decided to meet me in Grand Central Station and we were gonna hang out for a little bit at her aunt's flat before she had to go to dinner. I ended up staying at her aunt's flat while they went to dinner... I took a shower, slept, talked to Christina...etc. Well, their dinner reservation was at 7:30, so I was thinking they'd be gone like an hour and a half, two hours....10:30 rolls around and I start to get worried. Mostly because I was supposed to be taking a bus back to Adam's house, and I really started to get sketched out by the idea of taking a bus so late at night by myself. I called Adam and told him what was going on, he misunderstood me and thought I was out wandering the streets by myself, so I got him all worried for no reason by accident... then I had enough sense to call MARA'S cell phone and ask her where the hell she was. Her grandparents had taken them to a 5 course meal dinner and they were just about home. So when they got home I called Adam back, told him, again, what was going on, and then we were trying to figure out plans of action. They offered for me to stay at the flat, but honestly i didn't wanna do that, so then they offered to drive me to Port Authority (the bus station). I told Adam I was gonna do that and he said fine, that he'd be waiting for me at my stop. So then they change their mind and send me in a cab to Port Authority, where then I had to find my way around this huge ass place not knowing the first place to go. I bought a random ticket cuz this guy told me that the bus went to Caldwell, so I went up to the gate, 412, and called Adam to let him know. Meanwhile Adam had been researching the bus routes and found out that I was on the wrong bus. He told me to go to Gate 409, which sure enough was the RIGHT bus, although I had to pay another 5 bucks, but that really didn't matter too much. The bus driver was really nice, everyone on the bus was really nice, and it was a really great sight to see Adam waiting in his car for me at the stop. He asked me to tell him everything about the day, and we ended up talking for a reeeeeally long time about everything we could possibly think of, then he said goodnight and I went to bed. The next morning I got to talk to his mother and sister some more, Adam made me breakfast, and I went and looked around at his pool. I took a picture of it, and of Adam cooking me breakfast, I'll make sure to get them on here as soon as they're developed. Adam's mom offered to take me to lunch, so I took them up on that. Adam and I went back to the costume shop to pick up the remainder of the gels for the show, then we went to lunch however Adam didn't get to eat any of his cuz he was really late for rehearsal. So I got to girl talk with his mother and sister and ride in their Chrystler convertable with leather seats over to where Adam was to take him his lunch and say goodbye. Goodbyes were said, they drove me back to the house to pick up my car and I drove back here, although I wasn't as lucky with the time on the ride back, I hit major MAJOR traffic on 95 South. Grrr. I had so much fun. And thanks to Adam I'm not mugged/dead right now. I really enjoyed hanging out with him and his family and I'm pretty sure I'm gonna go back there next week to go see Chess. I really didn't wanna come back here :). I can't wait for college. Adam and I have SO much in common it's really rather frightening. I mean just our views on things are so similar, i don't think we've found a point we disagree on yet. Which, you know, is definitely an accomplishment with me because i am VERY OPINIONATED and don't change my views. At all. hehehe. So yea, overall it was SOO much fun and I can't wait to go up again next week (hopefully). THANK YOU ADAM FOR SAVING ME NUMEROUS TIMES :). Hopefully i'll make it up to you somehow
