it's my birthday!!! I'm not writing much, just this, cuz i'm waiting for Christina and my parents to get here and they'll be here any minute now. Jenny decorated my room last night, i LOVE her!!!! Last night at 1:05 i was in the East Tower and we all had a group hug and they sang happy birthday to me...it was really sweet! And then of course they proceeded to be drunk and play cockball (throw a water bottle full of wet paper towels at their balls until one of them gives up)- Tyler and Xander got in a slap fight (all in good fun of course, but i was worried out of my mind one of them was gonna get mad). And it ended with me leaving because it was only me, Xander, Andrew, Michaela and Emmie and Xander and Andrew had their attention soley on Michaela. So I figured it was time for me to give it up and go to bed. But it's fine- we'll see, tonight Jenny, Xander, Christina, my family and I are going out for dinner. yup. I'll write more later, Jenny's leaving for work

So uh, this here hurricane....wellll, enough about the hurricane- or shall I say "tropical depression" because all we got was rain and 40 mph winds. How's it lookin in Maryland? is everyone still alive? Are all of your houses still in one piece? How bout cars, did trees land on anybody's car? Mmmmm I had the BEST class this morning. Okay, so you'd think it was shitty to have to wake up at 7 this morning to go to 8 oclock Voice and Movement, but WAIT! We did our dance circle, we did our exercises, and THEN we gave eachother "lengthening massages"- 25 minutes each. Holy SHIT it was nice. Anyways, that's about enough of that...my birthday's tomorrow and i'm excited! Christina and my parents are coming up!!!!! And i've been getting stuff in the mail all week from my relatives and stuff. So far i think i've got a total of 180 dollars, i think that'll probly be it tho. I got 2 packages from my grandmother, one from my godfather, and one from my family friends Rob and Laura. I'm so excited! It just never really hit me i'd be getting presents and stuff, i've been too busy to think about it. Okay, i'm going to download some fonts for my computer, then do some homework...maybe play some Sims ;). What a wonderfully mundane Friday- and I LOVE it!!! Cheers Isabel

I had the most fun EVER in Scene Study today. We were working on high status/low status (if you want to know more about that concept, it's AMAZING, just ask me about it i'll explain in more detail) using improved scenes where status was assigned. I don't know if you understand what status is, but think of it this way...High status is like the Queen, low status is like a street rat. Also, a high status person puts off the air of "I bite" while the low status person puts off the air of "I'm not worth the trouble." Maybe that makes more sense now? Anyways, the first improv I did was a low status receptionist in a doctor's office, and i had to deal with 2 high status people and a low status person. It was SO much fun, and the audience really loved it. The second time I did it I was a high status patient, and I was dealing with a high status receptionist and a high status other patient. When I was "checking in", the high status patient came over and cut me off telling the receptionist they had no more paper towels in the bathroom. I said "excuse me sir, i'm TRYING to check in." Then after that I went over and confronted him about it, it was hilarious. My teacher said it was great :). I really love that class, and I really like doing the improv stuff...finally i'm in a situation where it doesn't have to be funny to 5-10 year olds. That's what I always used to do in Round House, we'd play to the kids. It's a lot easier when you can do serious improv as well. Anyways, I got lots of homework to do. Oh, Mary Corsaro caught me yawning today, almost made me cry cuz I don't ever yawn in her class- that was the first time I hadn't caught myself since I started taking the class, and she gutted me for it. Damn. Oh well, she got like 4 other people too. I can't decide whether she's nice or mean...and whether it's a matter of respect or there's no getting around it. We'll see with time I suppose. Yup, gotta do the homeowork, maybe i'll write later....we'll see

I locked my keys in my room...and now i can't sleep or eat lunch. Doesn't that suck ass? I don't know where Jenny is to get the keys from her. This really really sucks. I was going to take a nap in this hour break that i have because I'm so tired my eyes won't open without lots of work, but now I'm goin straight on till ballet. ugh. I'm gonna be hungry and tired and falling over. And I have rep class tonight. And lots of homework. Lordy. Oh wait, no i don't have lots of homework never mind! Only a few chapters for Voice and Movement. Guess who's goin to bed EARLY tonight! Meeeeeee!!! Congrats Crystal and Laura, that's wonderful!! I'll be there to see every night, so I'll get to see both of your perform. I can't wait to see it!!!! Dammit, i needed to send off those letters I wrote last night but I can't get into my room. Do you KNOW how much that sucks? Oh well, i'm gonna just head over to script analysis and sit there like a bum. Maybe i'll do some more homework for tomorrow. Yeaaaa, that's the ticket

Today's been a weird one. I'd say it was pms, but...i know that's not it. My dad made me these CD's called "Just Some Stuff My Dad Listens To" and they're really great, cuz i realized that THAT'S what i was missing! My dad's music would always play at home, and i was wondering why playing my music so often was weirding me out. Well now i know, i'm not used to listening to ONLY my music! :) Off to do homework now

Alison, i LOVE YOU!!!! for all of you who don't know, Alison sent me a postcard instead of commenting on my blog :). I thoroughly appreciate that. Actually, you completely brightened up my day, cuz I was having a pretty bad one. But now i'm not, because when I went to go get mail I had a card from my grandmother, a postcard from Alison and a package from my parents. I LOVE ALL OF YOU SO MUCH! Okay i have to go do my homework now, just thought I'd let you all know just how cool Alison Candela is :)

right now i'm over in Andrew's room while mostly everyone else is drunk off their ass. I haven't had anything, obviously, but I'm slowly realizing that I can, in fact, deal with people when they're drunk. I was worried that I wouldn't be able to ever deal with my friends when they drank, but slowly but surely i'm workin on it. Tonight was the formal, it was awesome!! Right now Xander's drunk off his ass with 8 beers in his gut but before when we were at the formal he had only had 4. That's his loosening up point, so it's really not that bad. With 4 he was really enjoyable to hang out with- he danced! He wouldn't dance until after 5 beers he said, but I got him on the dance floor after 4....i've got skills ;). I'm really not that worried about his drinking anymore, it's weird to hang out with him when he's drunk tho...cuz it's not him anymore, it's somebody else that's stupid and makes horrible jokes. But when he's only had 4 he's hilarious and really fun to hang out with. I still don't approve of drinking, but i let him drink because he came with me to the show the seniors put on before the party. I didn't know what it was gonna be like and it ended up being an hour and a half of inside jokes that he totally didn't understand at all- I felt SO BAD. To completely change the subject, Emmie's over there on the floor after 4 beers- she gets SO loud when she's drunk. She's really annoying when she's drunk and she doesn't stop talking. Anyways, back to the formal- I must say I looked very nice :). I took 3 pictures, 2 of me before the dance and one of Xander and me afterwards when he's in a sweatshirt and i'm still in my dress....or Emmie's dress as the case may be. There's this kid named Chuck that kept looking down my dress because it was really low. I kept telling Xander to kick his ass, but they're both too drunk to do anything of any value. My friends Andrew and Jack are playing Chess while they're drunk...on a piece of paper, with coins. Hahah Chuck just read the blog and he told me to write that he was gonna kick my ass...because he's challenged me to a fight- now come on yall, who'd you put your money on: me, or the drunk kid? Yea, THAT'S what i thought. Xander's SO drunk right now. This is kinda crazy. But he's telling me a lot of stuff that's kinda funny, he just kinda says EVERYTHING that he's thinking....it's interesting. I think i'm gonna go to bed now, i'm REALLY tired. Xander's reading this now, he says to include that he says things multiple times. THAT he does, yes. Okay, i'm gonna stop typing now. This is really funny. I'm just worried that he's gonna hurt himself or something...i'm gonna try to get him in bed and asleep. Okay, i'll write more soon :)
